Role Models

Here are my role models, these people have gone through many obstacles but have succeeded anyway. They inspire me everyday to do my best in the water. These people are Michael Phelps, Missy Franklin and Ryan Lochte. Here is a mini-biography of them.

  • Michael Phelps- He was born in June of 1985 and started swimming at the age of 7. He was the most younger person to enter in the swimming team of USA for the Olympics at the age of 15 (the Olympics of Sydney 2000). Although he didn't win nothing, he did got to the finals in one of the events. In the Olympics of Beijing he did win 8 medals. In the Olympics of London he won 4 golds and 2 silver medals, making the most successful athlete in the Games for the third Olympics in a row.  He is currently retired and probably playing golf somewhere in the world.
     
  • Ryan Lochte- He is an american swimmer born in August of 1984 and started swimming at the age og 5 by both of his parents. His early years in the pool he was always messing around but one day he began taking things seriously. He attended the University of Florida and graduated in the 2007. He currently has a lot of world records and has a show named "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?"
  • Missy Franklin- She is an american swimmer that was born in May of 1995 and started swimming at the age of 5. She tried to qualify in the Olympics of 2008 but couldn't make it. In the Olympics of 2012 she did come and won 4 gold medals. She currently holds at least 6 world recorlds. She attends in the University of California, Berkeley and plans to turn professional after the 2015 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
